As we always proudly say: our creams are made using 100% natural ingredients! With the growing influence of luxury brands and their marketing over the years, the perception of hand cream has naturally been for it to be smooth and watery. With that being said, the small grains which you may feel in our creams quickly dissolve and absorb into the skin. Our creams are packed with nutrients, do not contain chemicals or other artificial ingredients so a little bit of graining does not hurt the efficacy of the wonderful results your skin will thank you for (all whilst being free of preservatives!)
Our creams do not contain water - this is to prevent the build up of bacteria and mould; in order to stop these from growing in the product, preservatives will need to be added and this is something that we do not want in our hand creams so naturally, they do not have a super long shelf life. From the point after opening, your cream will be perfect to use for 6 months.
Less is more. All of our creams have a rich mango butter base, carried in oils such as jojoba and organic evening primrose; and in some cases (like Citron Vert) contain avocado oil, too! This means that the cream is naturally quite oily, however our formulas also contain arrowroot powder to balance that greasiness out; so whilst it may feel greasy at first, it is super fast-absorbing into the skin. Remember: a little amount goes a really long way.
